Armscor was founded in the Philippines by two Englishmen in 1905. It was originally called Squires Bingham & Co. and specialized in printing. In time the company expanded into selling guns and ammunition – an auspicious move, because today Armscor is its country’s largest ammo manufacturer.
This is Armscor’s basic 380 ACP ammunition for target shooting. If you’re apprehensive about foreign-made ammo because you don’t want bi-metal jackets that can attract a magnet, have no fear. Armscor’s pistol bullets do not contain steel. These are nonmagnetic round nose profile full metal jackets, designed to feed reliably, fly accurately, and otherwise emulate the recoil and ballistic performance of analogous self-defense bullets.
Armscor is a major exporter of component brass cases as well, which is why a handloader should approve of this particular ammo’s reloadable shells. Armscor’s Boxer primers are noncorrosive, and their low-fouling propellant will help to keep your pistol even cleaner while you’re tearing up targets at the range.
