This cartridge’s 124 grain total metal jacket bullet is a little different from the full metal jacket you usually find on a training load. The TMJ has a lead core, but it is completely sealed off by its all-encompassing copper-alloy jacket. Hot propellant gasses accordingly cannot evaporate lead off the core, which means no lead fouling in your barrel and no aerosolized toxic lead sneaking into your lungs!

Blazer loads this ammunition with Clean-Fire primers. They contain copper, zinc, nickel, diazodinitrophenol, nitrocellulose and strontium nitrate. They do not contain lead, antimony or barium, which are all heavy metals your lungs are better off without!

This ammunition is loaded with economical aluminum cases instead of traditional brass ones. The aluminum cases are heat-treated to promote reliable feeding and extraction in semi-automatic handguns, but they are impossible to handload.
