More Details About Our 5 Rounds of #4 Buck 12ga Ammo by Remington Express 2 3/4"

Remington was founded in 1816 by young Eliphalet Remington who simply set out to make a better musket. After working to create his ideal design Eliphalet used his father’s forge to build the gun, and when he was done he knew just the test he wanted to carry out: a shooting match. He entered a competition with his new gun and ended up winning second place, and while it’s easy to imagine he’d hoped for first, spectators were impressed and began placing orders for their own guns. At this juncture Eliphalet could have refused to fill the orders and stopped with his own gun, but he didn’t. He filled the orders, and the Remington Arms Company was born.

These Remington rounds are meant for your 12 gauge shotgun. They’re 2 ¾” long and loaded with 27 pellets of #4 buckshot. Each round leaves the barrel of your gun at the muzzle velocity of 1325 feet per second and hits home with substantial force. These are Remington’s Express rounds, so they have greater speed than similar 12-gauge rounds. Remington takes great care in the production of these shotshells by cushioning heavily behind the shot column and using granulated polymer buffering, both features essential to tight patterns. This ammunition can be used on small varmints such as raccoons, foxes, and coyotes, and can also be used for target practice.

There are 5 shotshells in this single box of Remington ammunition. These boxes are the perfect size for toting in your pocket when you head out to do some pest control or hit the range, and also great for stashing in your range bag. Of course, it’s still only 5 rounds, so if you want to give your shotgun a real meal you’ll need to order multiple boxes. Today Remington has half a dozen factories throughout the South, and each location has a specific function. Ammunition is produced at their factory in Lonoke, Arkansas. If you want high quality, American-made shotgun rounds, you want Remington. Order now.
