More Details About Our 1000 Rounds of 115gr FMJ 9mm Ammo by Tula

Tula's 115gr 9mm Luger FMJ ammo will give you all the practice shots you need and have your wallet feeling a little heavier than a lot of other ammo brands.

These rounds are made in a high quality Russian facility located in a town called "Tula". So, I'll give you three guesses how the Tula ammo company got its name! It doesn't cost as much to make ammo there, and we benefit! Enjoy the perks of capitalism everyone!

This 9mm ammo is made using berdan-primed, polymer-coated, steel casings. Sadly, the steel-cases aren't reloadable but, at least you can buy dozens of boxes without having to take out a second mortgage. The poymer coating on these rounds covers a lead projectile. Also, heads up - the bi-metal jacket is actually magnetic, so it would be a good idea to call your range to make sure this ammo is allowed. Some ranges don't like rounds that attract magnets.

Tula isn't exactly a new kid on the block. They have been manufacturing top quality ammunition and exporting it all over the globe for over 100 years. The company has a solid reputation among gun enthusiasts in many countries.

If you're looking for a great value, choose Tula. This projectile leaves the muzzle at 1,150 feet per second and you get 1,000 rounds per order.

I wrote a review a couple days before saying it was pretty good but things is ammo is tooooo expensive and Tula is a very good option (it does get dirtier) but it doesn’t hurt your gun at all and I love cleaning my gun and I will buy it again.
Ohhh!! One more thing (I had no issues at all when I fired ‘em.
Be safe and peace ✌️

It’s my first time buying ammunition and I went for a 1000 ,the only issue was that I couldn’t fire those rounds in all ranges so you have to make sure they allow you to fire with steel casing. I own a sig sauer and I was told that kind of rounds will damage my gun I don’t know if that’s true but they just did the job,it does get dirtier but the price is good

First off the price was amazing. So when you have something at such a good price it's either youre lucky or the item isn't all that great... and you pray that youre lucky. Truth is I was. I was lucky to get a good deal on these because the ammo did just fine and even better than expected. I tried it on my Glock 19, Glock 17, and Smith & Wesson M&P shield and they worked great. No malfunctions or any problems. I will admit with this ammo the gun does get a little bit more dirtier than usual but if you ask me it shouldn't matter because you should be cleaning your gun after every cycle regardless. You might also see more of a muzzle flash with this ammo but that didn't bother me.

Not bad ammo

Performance

I've used this ammo on and off for years. Some guns like it, some guns don't. Three of the four nine millimeters that I own we'll shoot this just fine. One is finicky and it does not shoot. I don't judge the ammo on the ammo itself, as sometimes the gun is as picky. Don't buy a thousand rounds just to find out that your gun won't shoot it. Find a box of 50 and give it a try.

Why not?

Performance

I have shot at least 1,500+ rounds of this ammo through my Glock and have never had an issue with this ammo. It does run a little dirtier than other more expensive ammo out there. But hey for the price why not?..... you gotta clean your firearms anyway.

Some Guns Don't Like It

Performance

Continues with no issues in my Glock, but hates my Smith and Wesson M&P 9c. Tried running 2 full magazines. Failed to feed o EVERY round. Gun works flawlessly with brass cased ammo,

First time I used this ammo. No ammo caused malfunctions i my Glock 19. Runs dirtier than higher quality ammo, but, hey, I enjoy cleaning my Glock!

good ammo

Performance

I've shot several hundred rounds of Tulammo through my beretta m9. It all cycled fine. With zero malfunctions. If it doesn't work in your gun then it's time for you to get a different gun.

Check your range first

Performance

Bought several 50 round boxes to try. Only to find out the two ranges I go to will not allow this ammo. Word of advice. Make sure this is allowed at your range before purchasing. I quests I'll save mine for an outdoor range a couple hours away....

great cheap ammo

Performance

I have a glock 19 and have fired thousands of these rounds and never had a problem. No ftfs, ftes, or misfires. I will continue to buy theses rounds as long as they are available.

Not worth the box it came in...

Performance

This stuff is complete crap. I bought one box of 50 rounds to try it out hoping to find a cheap, shootable range round. 4 FTFs out of 15 rounds. The rest is going to be disposed of safely, but it's not going through my gun.

I'll stick to Magtech, Blazer, PMC, WWB or other quality ammunition. You DO get what you pay for. Live & Learn.

Ad says 1000 rounds but description says 900 rounds---- which is it? Posted On: 5/7/2022 By: Darrel Wirebaugh
Thanks for pointing out our error Darrel! This is in fact a 1,000-round case of ammo, not 900.
This ammunition will it work well In A 92 Beretta for personal defense.? Posted On: 3/15/2022 By: Brian
Thanks for reaching out Brian! Tula's steel-cased ammo is known to fail a little more frequently than the American brass-cased ammo you may be accustomed to firing, but the Beretta 92 quite famously devours steel-cased without a hiccup. Do expect dirtier performance, though!

I would never recommend this ammo for personal protection, though. This is budget-friendly FMJ range ammo, and you want high-quality JHP ammo for so important a job. I'd highly recommend the Speer Gold Dot 124gr JHP ammo we currently have in stock if you're looking for good self-defense ammo for your Beretta: ammoforsale.com/speer-9mm-ammo-for-sale-9mm124jhpspeergd-50
