20 Rounds of 124gr HP 7.62x39mm Ammo by Wolf

The 7.62x39mm round has been around since 1944. It was created after rather lengthy planning: in 1943 the Technical Council of the People’s Commissariat for Armaments met to discuss the need for a new intermediate rifle round and to decide what it needed to be capable of, and soon after a team of pre-eminent Russian ammunition experts was assembled to make it happen. It was a big task starting out with 314 cartridge designs which were soon narrowed down to 8, and the round they ended up choosing wasn’t actually the 7.62x39mm, it was the 7.62x41mm. It didn’t take long for them to realize it wasn’t quite right, though, and the 7.62x39mm was born.

These 7.62x39mm rounds are a lightweight 124 grain, so they’re going to reach out and touch your target at blinding speeds. They’re Hollow Point (HP) rounds, so they begin to expand the instant the strike your target, mushrooming as they decelerate to create a truly catastrophic wound channel. Each of these rounds bursts from the barrel of your rifle at the muzzle velocity of 2330 feet per second and impacts with enormous energy. This ammunition is meant for hunting game such as whitetail deer and can also be used for target practice and plinking.

There are just 20 rounds in this box of ammunition. It’s a great size for tucking in your pocket when you head out on a hunt or hit the range and also a nice size for stacking in the corner of your safe, but it’s still only 20 rounds, so you might want to buy more than one box.
