- Q & A
You carry a .40 cal handgun because you want strong knockdown power with less recoil. And you know it’s all about knockdown power. To improve your marksmanship skills, order a box or three of this Blazer .40 S&W 165 grain FMJ ammunition. Blazer is under the umbrella of CCI, a company established in 1951 by Boeing machinist Richard Speer. The company has been manufacturing ammunition to strict standards for decades, and this ammunition is a stellar example of their dedication to quality rounds at affordable prices.
Target practice and tactical training are of vital importance to all shooters, and if you take training seriously, you might find it gets expensive. Using this Blazer ammunition will reduce costs while maintaining quality. It’s made with heat-treated, aircraft-grade aluminum, and that’s the feature that saves you money: aluminum used carefully to create target rounds to a higher standard than you typically find.
We know you care about speed and impact, too, because you are, after all, a .40 cal enthusiast. This ammunition has a muzzle velocity of 1,100 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 443 foot-pounds. They’re also FMJ rounds, meaning they pierce your target without expanding. And if you’re looking to train, look no further; this ammunition is for you.
CCI produces these Blazer rounds right here in America at their Lewiston, Idaho, plant. They’re made right on the banks of the Snake River; it just doesn’t get much more American than that. And with 50 rounds in this box, your handgun will be able to run through a few mags. Place your order today to keep up your important practice rate and save money.
Decent target ammo, okay deal.on 8/11/16
Only slightly cheaper than retail, but still cheaper. Decent target ammo, no FTF or FTE. Would buy again.
Great Ammoon 5/31/13
Have fired several boxes thru my S&W without any problems what so ever. A little lower grain might keep the gun from bouncing around. Great ammo for the price.

- Is this good ammo? Posted On: 3/28/11 By: DG
- Yes, the CCI TMJ rounds are excellent for practice. For self defense carry, I would suggest looking at a high-quality hollow point.
