The AR-15 is one cool gun. Slap a loaded mag in place, plant your feet, and let lead fly; what better way to spend your free time? Your AR-15 has the power necessary to blow away a variety of targets, and you’ve done just about everything, from pop cans to mannequins to seasonal fruits and vegetables. And you’d like to do more, but you run into the same problem every time: ammo. It gets expensive firing mag after mag full of target rounds, so you just haven’t been able to shoot as much as you’d like. Well, that’s what Tula is here for, to make high-volume shooting possible with competitively-priced target rounds.
At 55 grain these are somewhat lightweight for the cartridge, and that lighter weight means increased speed. These are FMJ rounds so they’re designed just for target practice, tactical training, and, your favorite, plinking. Tula makes them using their own unique layering method alternating thin layers of copper and steel until they come up with the perfect steel case, and when it’s all put together they coat it in a special polymer to make sure it cycles smoothly. This ammunition has a mind-blowing muzzle velocity of 3241 feet per second, so saying it’ll reach your target before you know it is an understatement.
There are 500 target rounds in this box. Tula manufactures all its ammunition at their plant in Tula, Russia, where they’ve been located since 1712. Yes, they’ve been in business for 300 years, and that’s not something many companies can claim. They certainly have the years of experience to back up their reputation, and it’s a solid one. Don’t let outrageous prices cut into your shooting habit. Order a box or two of these steel-cased .223 rounds and go heat up your AR-15.
(This ammunition is steel-cased. Some ranges do not allow rounds with steel cases, so make sure you double check before trying to use this ammunition at your area range.)
