More Details About This Winchester 2-3/4" #6 shot 12ga Ammunition
If you need lead-free ammunition for bird or small game hunting, try these steel loads from Winchester. Each shell in this box fires an ounce of #6 steel birdshot at a muzzle velocity of 1,325 feet per second. This delivers good patterning and a manageable level of recoil.

While steel shot may only be required in certain places such as wetlands, it can be beneficial to use it in upland areas as well. Unlike lead shot, steel shot will not contaminate irrigation channels or streams. Steel shot can also be a good choice if you plan to pursue different species at once and want to include waterfowl in the hunt.

These shotshells are loaded in Oxford, Mississippi, home of Winchester ammo production since 2011. Each box contains 100 shells.
