The 410 Bore may be a small shotshell – but it packs the punch of an angry gorilla when it’s loaded with bismuth shot.
What is this “bismuth” we speak of? It is a nontoxic metal, which means you can use it for hunting around wetlands and other places where lead is a no-go. Better yet, bismuth is 22% more dense than steel, which is why this shell is able to deliver about 44% more energy to its target downrange. Denser bismuth penetrates deeper than steel, too!
Remington’s Premier Bismuth series 410 Bore ammunition is loaded with #4 bismuth shot by HEVI, a company which specializes in manufacturing bismuth shot. It is safe to fire in all 410 firearms, including antique shotguns and 45/410 revolvers (so long as they have 3” chambers). Its 9.64 g/cc density makes #4 bismuth shot ideal for hunting duck, pheasant and other medium size upland game alike. And it’s all made in the USA.
