This shell is loaded with the most shot a target shooter is typically allowed to fire. At 1-1/8 ounces, the shot column comprises approximately 460 individual 0.09” diameter shot pellets. Together these form an extremely dense pattern which neither clay nor bird will survive an encounter with.

This round’s 1,255 fps muzzle velocity is fast enough to quickly catch up with a high-flying target. But because the general purpose shot pellets are made of very hard lead, they don’t flatten down and lose their tight-patterning performance during ignition.
