This shell is loaded with #7.5 shot, a longtime favorite among trap shooting and sporting clays aficionados alike. NobelSport produces all of their components from high-grade raw materials, including this shell’s shot which is made of deformation resistant tempered lead. A hinged NSI GT wad soaks up a healthy amount of kick before patterning the shot tightly and evenly out of the muzzle.
The NSI GT wad doesn’t do all of the recoil-reducing work, however. NobelSport specifically loads this ammo with a lighter shot column and to a lower muzzle velocity, which is why it doesn’t buck too hard or cause relatively much muzzle rise.
NobelSport’s ammo features their own powder blends – in this case No. 206, a single base formula which burns quickly, evenly and without leaving behind very much residue. Their bright orange hulls are easy to spot on the ground, and you will definitely want to pick them back up so you can use them for handloading!
