This shell is large and in charge courtesy of its 241 or so pellets of #7.5 shot. Each little lead globe has been screened multiple times to ensure it is precisely 0.095” in diameter, and also made of the rigid lead it needs in order to stay that way under recoil. This round’s 1,140 fps muzzle velocity is hardly the highest a shotshell could conceivably deliver, although it is still perfectly serviceable for bagging rabbit, grouse, dove and quail!
