This 3” shell stores a generously sized (relatively speaking) 11/16 ounce column of #9 shot. Those are Fiocchi’s characteristically hard and spherical shot pellets, which have the abilities to pattern in efficient formation and penetrate deeply. You’d be hard-pressed to call this shell’s tiny shot pellets powerful – especially in light of their just barely supersonic muzzle velocity – but they’ll get the job done if you keep your targets within a reasonable range.

This ammo feeds and extracts smoothly whether you’re firing a shotgun or revolver. Fiocchi’s tubes are also strong enough for a handloader’s purposes. Powder burns up fast and completely to reduce the rate of barrel fouling. Made in the USA!
