This shell is loaded with an even ounce of #2 buck. It’s not a common shot size, but for reference it is 0.27” in diameter and weighs approximately 29.4 grains per pellet; 00 buck is 0.33” and 53.8 grains. The smaller pellets are still exceedingly lethal to small and medium game, especially considering that this shell dumps over 1,000 ft lbs of energy across 14 individual points of impact at close range.
