This 20 Gauge target load is produced by Estate Cartridge. They aren’t the best known operation, but they are owned by Vista Outdoor – the same company that owns Federal Premium, which is located just down the road from Estate in Anoka, MN.

This shell is loaded with extra hard #8 lead shot. The resilient 0.09” diameter pellets stay round while they’re accelerated faster than the speed of sound, which serves to promote an altogether tighter pattern. The wad’s compressible midsection helps to reduce the amount of recoil you’ll feel during ignition. The reloadable steel-headed shell is filled with trusty primers, as well as powder that burns hot and fast to minimize fouling.
