This Winchester USA series cartridge is loaded with a lead round nose projectile. It’s all-lead, no copper plating, with a streamlined nose profile. The bullet weighs perfectly normal at 40 grains, and its 1,255 fps muzzle velocity (about 130 fps faster than the speed of sound) gives it a satisfactorily flat trajectory for target shooting at all ranges. We chose not to advertise this as a hunting round owing to its bullet’s solid point profile, but we’re sure the small game in your neighborhood would hate getting hit with a non-expanding LRN all the same.

Winchester loads each round in this case with a noncorrosive rimfire primer, clean-burning propellant charge and precision-formed brass case. You get 100 individual boxes when you order the whole case – the polar opposite of loose-packed.
