Every 2-3/4” shell in this case is constructed from premium components and loaded with 1-1/8 oz. of high-quality #8 lead shot. #8 shot gives you an excellent dense pattern that’s sure to shatter clays. It’s also pretty effective at varmint hunting; I wouldn’t want to pick all the pellets out to eat it, but if you need to control snakes on your property #8 is an excellent choice. Unfortunately, it has difficulty penetrating fur and feathers which makes it unsuitable for hunting larger birds and game.
