The Nosler Ballistic Tip is named for its polymer tip, which contributes greatly to the round's external and terminal ballistics. The boat-tailed projectile delivers extreme stability in flight for more dependable long-range shots. Upon contact with the target, the round's heavy base and tapered jacket combine with the expansion cavity to create a wide mushroom for superior terminal impact.
