Cost-effective 12 gauge #4 buckshot from a company that has a history dating back to the early 1800’s!
Louis Sellier entered the ammunition business in 1825. He got started making percussion caps for the local infantry at the request of Francis I, who was then-emperor of Austria. Not long after, Sellier was joined in the business by his fellow countryman, Jean Maria Nicolaus Bellot, whose expertise led to Sellier and Bellot becoming a true success. Within 5 years they’d produced more than 60 million percussion caps, and within 7 more years they’d reached 156 million, which was an incredibly impressive number at that time. Today Sellier and Bellot distributes their ammunition on a global level and is known for producing reliable rounds.
These Sellier and Bellot rounds are made for your 12-gauge shotgun. Each round measures 2 ¾” long and is filled with 27 pellets of #4 buckshot. These rounds contain a 1 ¼ ounce load which provides fantastic power for sending the buckshot within the shotshells towards targets with impressive speed and force. Each round leaves the barrel of your shotgun at a muzzle velocity of 1185 feet per second. This ammunition can be used on small game such as rabbits and foxes and is also a good option for home defense, due to its ability to deliver excellent stopping power without the massive over-penetration of larger loads such as 00 buckshot.
When you order this box of ammunition from Sellier and Bellot you get 10 boxes of 25 rounds apiece for a grand total of 250 rounds. With 250 shotshells you can dedicate quite a bit of time to target practice and improving your accuracy and still have enough left over for some serious hunting. If you’re ordering this ammo for home defense, make sure you get some practice in with it so you can be sure of your ability to make accurate, well-placed shots. There’s no such thing as too much target practice or too much ammunition. Sellier and Bellot manufactures ammunition at their longtime factory in Vlasim, Czech Republic. Order now and keep your 12-gauge well-fed.
