Black Hills Ammunition makes top shelf cartridges for a variety of applications. Our own Armed Forces’ sniper and rifle teams buy up plenty of Black Hills’ match grade cartridges. If accuracy matters just as much to you, then you’ll want to scoop up a case of these 308 Win rounds as soon as you’re able.
This cartridge’s 168 grain bullet is a boat tail hollow point, a style of bullet that has won more target competitions than all other types combined. It features a sharp meplat and tapered base, which work together to help the bullet retain greater velocity downrange. This bullet’s thin and concentric jacket encompasses a core that settled into place while still molten, giving it near perfect rotational stability. Don’t let this bullet’s name lead you astray, though – while it will certainly leave a mark, it’s not designed to deliver terminal expansion like a hollow point pistol bullet would.
Black Hills works with only the finest components available to make match grade cartridges. They loaded these rounds with super sensitive Boxer primers and uniform charges of propellant, as well as brass shell casings that will fit the inside of your rifle’s chamber like a glove.
