This round’s bullet is a 115 grain plated full metal jacket. Those are three important things:
1. 115 Grains - Light for the 9mm, and indicative of supersonic muzzle velocity out of a standard 4” barrel
2. Plated - Unsafe for use in firearms with ported barrels and/or recoil compensators
3. Full Metal Jacket - Built for smooth feeding and clean performance, but incapable of delivering terminal expansion
All of that is to say that this is proper, budget-conscientious target ammunition!
And even better, it is made in America. Blazer is produced by CCI, which got its start manufacturing primers for the U.S. government back in the ‘50s and is renowned for the quality of its rimfire ammunition. CCI’s centerfire products are also very good: widely favored by our customers, and loaded with quality components including reloadable brass cases (new as the day they were made).
