More Details About This Sterling 115gr FMJ 9mm Ammo
Imagine an entire planet made out of 9mm ammo. It wouldn’t be a great place to light up a cigar, but we’d love to go there all the same.
Sadly, NASA has not yet confirmed the existence of such a planet. But at least you can stock up on Sterling Steel until they do.
This ammo is made in Turkey by Turaç. It is also made to help you save $$$, because it features multiple steel components in place of copper/brass ones.
• The cases? Steel. Cheaper than brass, albeit non-reloadable, and not as clean shooting, either.
• The FMJ bullets’ jackets? Steel, with just an eensy bit of copper wash for better cosmetic appearance. The most important thing to know about steel-jacketed FMJs is this: a large number of gun ranges prohibit them. If your preferred range is one of them, then you may wind up regretting having ordered Sterling Steel.
We don’t want you to live with regret.
Sterling ammunition is noncorrosive. It’s also loaded to a maximum average pressure of 34,085 psi, which falls within SAAMI specification.
