More Details About Our 1000 Rounds of 55gr FMJ 223 Rem Ammo by Hornady
This 223 Rem cartridge by Hornady features a 55 grain projectile, the commonest bullet weight for its caliber and one that any AR enthusiast is already thoroughly familiar with. A Hornady bullet’s jacket is consistently thick, which along with its uniform lead core means precise shots and tight groupings. Its non-expanding bullet makes this round ideal for casual plinking and serious target practice alike -- with 1,000 of these rounds ready to go in one box, you’ll be able to test out the full gamut of its applications for yourself.
Frontier ammunition is loaded at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, and is subject to Hornady’s exacting inspection procedure all along the way. Lake City’s amazing output capacity means that these rounds are very affordable, but without sparing the quality brass casings, responsive primers, and clean burning propellant charges needed for rewarding shooting. The casing’s annealed neck and shoulder keep it soft and suited for many future reloads!
