Prvi Partizan of Serbia is not merely a military ammo manufacturer. Many of the more than 160 types of cartridges they create go straight to the civilian market as well. It only makes sense that their Rangemaster label 5.56x45 – which represents the best work Prvi Partizan can do – would come here, to the land of the AR-15!

This cartridge’s 55 grain FMJBT suits it perfectly for target shooting. (That said, you could ask for far worse ammo to stockpile if you’re prepping for a category 5 doomsday scenario.) Its firm gilding metal jacket helps the bullet feed freely, avoid depositing much lead residue in a rifle barrel, and preserve its streamlined profile throughout ignition. Its boat tail helps the bullet lose less speed as it zips through the air – which in turn helps the bullet exhibit a satisfyingly flat trajectory, as well as heightened insensitivity to wind deflection.

Prvi Partizan is not one of those manufacturers which sneaks steel into their ammo. As such this 5.56 round’s nonmagnetic bullet is seated in a new brass case, with the non-corrosive and low-fouling primer and propellant it needs to get the job done!
