125 Rounds of 62gr FMJ M855 5.56x45 Ammo by Winchester

Think of M855 as your everyday 5.56x45 range ammo – with a little extra spice thrown in for good measure.

What makes this round different is its 62 grain bullet. It is an FMJ and hence designed to promote optimal functionality in a semi-automatic rifle (like the AR-15), but its green painted tip denotes the bullet’s steel penetrator core. This makes the bullet’s tip a whole lot harder, and thus able to penetrate sheet metal and other obstinate barriers. The M855 is magnetic, and its heavier weight means it is most accurate in a 1:8 or 1:9 twist barrel.

This ammo is military-grade, with rugged heat-treated brass cases for added reliability. The new cases’ discolored necks and shoulders are a byproduct of the heat treatment procedure which made them more supple. Clean-burning propellant, non-corrosive Boxer primers, and made in America!
