This cartridge’s 124 grain full metal jacket projectile achieves 2,576 fps muzzle velocity once it has cleared a 23.5” barrel. Its streamlined nose profile and uniform jacket concentricity give the bullet a 0.400 G1 ballistic coefficient, so you can expect supersonic velocity until approximately 880 yards. The bullet won’t treat a fleshy target to terminal expansion, although its nonmagnetic composition makes it a safe bet for target practice at any commercial range.
