More Details About This Stelth 220gr TMJ .300 AAC Blackout Ammo
Ammo Inc. designs their stelTH series ammunition so you can drop decibels and shorten cleaning time! This Arizona-made ammo is the perfect accompaniment to any 300 AAC Blackout firearm whether it’s suppressed or unsuppressed.
This ammo owes its strikingly soft report to one feature: its heavyweight 220 grain projectile. The bullet only picks up enough momentum to clear the muzzle at a rate of about 1,070 fps, which is way too slow to break the sound barrier. The bullet will generate sufficient chamber pressure to reliably cycle a semi-automatic, but it will not issue a sharp crack upon ignition.
Ammo Inc.’s Hyperclean Technology does a great job minimizing propellant fouling, but that’s not the only cleanliness-enhancing trick this round has up its sleeve. The total metal jacket projectile’s lead core is inaccessible to hot propellant gasses, so it does not deposit lead residue in a barrel’s rifling or a suppressor’s baffles. The TMJ is also preferable for indoor ranges, as it does not emit toxic lead gas!
Ammo Inc. exclusively loads nonmagnetic projectiles, noncorrosive Boxer primers, and first-run reloadable brass cases.
