This round’s 230 grain XTP is a high-tech jacketed hollow point. Its jacket covers its base, so hot propellant gasses can’t burn lead off its core. The XTP’s jacket also shields the rim of its nose cavity to help prevent a poorly timed failure to feed. The XTP’s jacket is additionally skived and drawn so that it becomes thicker toward the base of the bullet – two features which promote reliable terminal expansion, even at lower velocities. And thanks to its swaged lead core and heightened jacket concentricity, the XTP supplies the accuracy you need to hit your mark.
