Here is the perfect ammunition for defense … defense against DEER. It’s Remington’s Core-Lokt series 243 Win ammo, which is by far one of the most popular solutions for harvesting venison in the USA!
Why is the Core-Lokt pointed soft point projectile such a bad thing to happen to hoofed mammals? It’s not just because the 100 grain PSP’s copper jacket and lead core are locked together, which renders it capable of retaining most of its weight and penetrating deeply as a result.
