This 9mm ammunition by Ammo Inc. of Arizona is perfect for any kind of shooting you plan to do at the range. It’s loaded with a total metal jacket, a bullet which provides all the same benefits as an FMJ except for one: the TMJ virtually eliminates lead fouling.
The TMJ has a lead core, but its core is completely sealed in by its copper jacket – even its base, which is exposed to searing hot gas during ignition. The TMJ doesn’t allow its core to vaporize, so it cannot dirty up your barrel’s rifling with lead residue to make it less effective at its job.
The TMJ offers yet another benefit: a healthier training environment. The bullet doesn’t produce lead gas when it is fired, which is generally not a type of gas you want in your lungs. Even a range’s floor stays cleaner when shooters exclusively fire TMJ ammo there.
