This varmint annihilator is loaded with 84 grains of #4 lead shot (i.e. 24/125 ounces, 0.192 ounces, or 26 separate 0.130" pellets). On ignition the round’s orange capsule disintegrates as the shot column accelerates to a velocity of 1,000 fps (CCI recorded that figure with a 4” barrel). On impact the shot pellets will make mincemeat out of any rodent, arachnid, snake or bird that dared to elicit your fury.

Do not fire this ammo in a lever-action rifle. Even if it manages to feed correctly, it can damage the bore’s rifling.
Do not fire this ammo in a revolver with a ported barrel or ported recoil compensator. Doing so risks deflection that could cause serious injury.
Do not attempt to reload this ammo’s aluminum cases. Aluminum cases can burst and cause serious injury if they are reloaded.
Do not load all five or six cylinders of a lightweight revolver with this ammo. Strong recoil can cause the plastic capsule to shift away from its seating in the case mouth and interfere with free rotation of the cylinder. If you want to fire this ammo in a lightweight revolver, take care to load only one cylinder at a time. That solves the problem of “capsule creep.”
