More Details About Our 460 Rounds of 146gr FMJ 7.62x51mm Ammo in Ammo Can by PMC
These 7.62x51mm NATO rounds are great for use in bolt-action or semi-automatic rifles used for recreational plinking, serious training, and prone precision warm-up. While PMC manufactured this ammo around three decades ago, it has been kept safe within a steel ammo can which matches the style used by the U.S. military. The can has a folding handle for easy carrying, a tight latch to prevent spills, and rubber gasket to keep the contents away from humidity. Inside the can are 23 boxes of brass-cased ammunition that feature clean-igniting Boxer primers. Each primer is surrounded by a sealing substance that guards powder against moisture.
Casings are heat treated for neck flexibility and crowned with 146-grain full metal jacket (FMJ) bullets. The FMJs match a popular weight rating in the 7.62mm NATO caliber and are close in specification to M80 ammo; this lends shooters recognizable recoil and uniform in-flight ballistics for close adherence to proven ranging tables and drop charts. This cartridge's FMJ does utilize a bi-metal jacket which may not pass the magnet test employed by some indoor ranges that want to protect their bullet traps. Korean PMC ammo is manufactured using the same machinery and components which have served their country's military as well as the United States military in times of shortage.
