This 9mm ammo from Federal’s Ballisticlean line of ammunition is designed to help you train more safely. Its 100 grain RHT bullet is frangible, meaning it is made of compressed metal powders instead of solid lead and gilding metal like a conventional FMJ. When the RHT strikes a solid surface, whether that happens to be a rock, cement wall or steel target, it bursts apart into harmless dust and fragments. The RHT virtually eliminates dangerous splashback!
The RHT is also 100 percent lead-fee. It releases no toxic, heavy metals into the air during ignition or following impact, which is a huge advantage if you’re training indoors where the air circulation is poor.
Ballisticlean ammo’s brass cases are reloadable. Its bullets’ distinctive nose profiles, copper-plated primers and “NT” headstamps make this frangible ammo easy to differentiate from other rounds at a glance.
