This is true M80 ball ammo, with a 147 grain FMJ loaded to a slightly faster muzzle velocity than the sniper’s preferred M118LR. Out of a 22” barrel this round delivers a 2,740 fps muzzle velocity, with a resultant 0.398 G1 BC that still offers pretty reliable long-distance performance. If you’d rather implement this ammo for self-defense, so be it – even a shorter barrel is going to give its bullet enough of a push to leave a heck of a mark on impact.

Magtech utilizes good components to give this ammo target-grade accuracy. New brass cases seat their nonmagnetic bullets at a uniform depth, and clean burning primers and propellant won’t corrode or needlessly foul your rifle.
