50 Rounds of 147gr JHP 9mm Ammo by Speer G2

Save the experimentation for the range -- when it comes to the pistol you’d use to defend your life, you want ammo that’s already won the approval of countless law enforcement professionals. This 9mm cartridge by Speer features a 147 grain Gold Dot G2 projectile. Like the original Gold Dot, the G2’s alloyed lead core and copper jacket are securely bonded to one another, so they’re virtually inseparable as they puncture tough barriers and targets alike.

The G2 improves on the original, however, with the addition of a shallow nose dish that is filled with a special ductile elastomer. As the G2 penetrates, that elastomer is forced down into its core’s engineered internal fissures, spreading them apart rapidly yet measuredly to cause reliable expansion. The star shape the G2 expands to is at once incredibly devastating and less able to overpenetrate, making this round safer to fire where bystanders may be present.

This self-defense round further offers a nickel plated brass casing. Its reflectivity makes it easier to spot during a hurried chamber check, and its lubricity promotes more reliable feeding and ejection in a rapidly fired semi-automatic firearm.
