The Arizonan company’s Wisconsin-made ammunition always makes a sure bet for target practice – and it’s awesome if you’re trying to get the cleanest possible performance out of your 45 Long Colt rifle or revolver.

This round is equipped with a 250 grain total metal jacket. Unlike an FMJ which exposes the base of its lead core to exploding propellant, the TMJ’s lead core is completely sealed away by its jacket. That translates to extremely low fouling of the barrel, not to mention minimal exposure to aerosolized heavy metal while you’re honing your aim in a stuffy indoor range. This particular ammo’s TMJ has a truncated cone profile that facilitates smoother feeding, as well as flat nose profile that sits safely in a tubular magazine.

These rounds are noncorrosive, brass-cased and reloadable. They also feature Hyperclean Technology propellant, which is formulated to even further reduce fouling of the bore. SAA fans rejoice!
