This 9mm cartridge features Federal’s 124 grain Total Synthetic Jacket projectile. Whereas the traditional FMJ is jacketed with gilding metal, the TSJ bullet is completely enveloped in modern polymer. This prevents any metal from touching your firearm’s barrel, which eliminates lead and copper fouling and even reduces friction to extend the barrel’s lifespan.
The TSJ bullet greatly reduces the chance of splash-back while you are training, so you can worry less about little flecks of metal hitting you in the face while you are firing at steel targets or against a stony backdrop. Its flat nose profile also helps the bullet strike a steel surface head-on.
