This cartridge features an LSWC – a lead semi-wadcutter, which will help you see precisely where each shot hits the target. Unlike a round nose FMJ or LRN, the LSWC cuts a clean hole through paper. Its nose makes it somewhat easier to guide into a revolver’s chamber than a normal wadcutter’s flat tip would allow. The lever-action friendly bullet is also unjacketed. That poses a lower (but still present) risk of splash-back while you’re firing on hard targets or against a hard backdrop.

This round has a muzzle velocity of 1,235 fps, so it will produce roughly the same recoil as any other 158 grain target load.
