Federal followed the military’s M193 specifications to a T when they loaded this cartridge. (The additional X merely signals that it was produced for regular Joes instead of GI Joes.) This cartridge’s 55 grain full metal jacket should deliver optimal functionality and consistent accuracy out of any 5.56 firearm. Its solid lead core and gilding metal jacket make it cost-effective at the expense of being unable to deliver terminal expansion. The nonferrous bullet is also unable to attract a magnet!

This ammo’s noncorrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning powder will both have minimal impact on your rifle. Its military-grade brass cases are visibly discolored as the result of the normal annealing process. They are just as brand new as they are reloadable.
