750 Rounds of 124gr FMJ 9mm NATO Ammo by Winchester

Want to put a little extra pepper in your favorite 9mm firearm? Check out Winchester’s 9mm NATO ammunition! It’s loaded to a higher pressure than your everyday range round, so its muzzle velocity is 1,200 fps instead of the usual ~1,130 fps.

The 9mm NATO’s boosted muzzle velocity is not the product of an unusually light bullet. This round’s middleweight 124 grain bullet simply has a more potent propellant charge sitting behind it. As such you can safely treat 9mm NATO just like you would 9mm +P, which is to say that you should not load it in firearms that aren’t rated for overpressure ammo.

This cartridge’s bullet is nothing more than Winchester’s typical full metal jacket. The nonmagnetic FMJ has the rigid jacket it needs to feed smoothly and prevent excessive barrel fouling. It can’t expand and is accordingly the lesser choice for personal defense applications.
