This cartridge is fitted with a 147 grain full metal jacket. You’ll see its toothed cannelure rising just above the case mouth, which the FMJ uses to stay planted in its original seating depth while recoil jars it around in the magazine. Armscor’s FMJ doesn’t contain one molecule of steel, so if your range bans magnetic bullets then you’ll still be all set with this ammo. Its bullet’s lighter weight means this round is not subsonic – 1,826 fps is about 62 percent faster than the speed of sound!

This ammo is Boxer-primed and noncorrosive. Its brass cases are also brand new and not reloaded. Don’t be put off by the dark annulus around the case’s shoulder – that’s only there because Armscor didn’t bother enhancing this ammo’s cosmetics by polishing its cases up after they were fortified via heat-treatment at the factory.
