More Details About This Black Hills Ammunition 240gr JHP .44 Mag Ammo
Big Bang Theory? What is that? Some kind of TV sitcom? Nope. It’s the name of my 44 Magnum revolver, which I also occasionally refer to as “The Golden Girl” or “Dr. Quinn.”
Your own 44 Mag’s nickname? It doesn’t matter. Not to me, at least. But hey! That doesn’t mean that I don’t care deeply about whether or not you have enough hunting/defense ammunition for the thing. And here’s proof: a doozie of a deal on Black Hills Ammunition’s 240 grain jacketed hollow point loads.
It’s a straightforward usage of the 44 Mag’s gargantuan power, all things considered. You’ve got about 11/20 ounces of lead and copper alloy. You’ve moving it around 135 fps faster than the speed of sound. You’re hitting a close-range target with about twice as much force as a 9mm Luger. And that JHP? It widens inside flesh. Mashes and lashes at it until the owner of said flesh is a lot, lot worse off than they were before you entered the equation.
Black Hills isn’t America’s biggest ammo maker, but I’d dare say they’re one of our best. An independently owned outfit in South Dakota, they are. A real mom and pop op. The “pop” is a retired SWAT sniper, who produces ammo for military snipers whenever he’s not making fine 44 Mag ammunition for the likes of you.
