50 Rounds of 230gr FMJ .45 ACP Ammo by Browning BPT

Don’t be surprised by this ammo’s dark-colored cases. They aren’t steel, like you might expect from a Russian manufacturer. They are brass, and plated in black nickel to reduce friction in a semi-automatic – added assurance your gun won’t jam while you’re trying to get your mind in the target zone.

This cartridge is loaded with the 45 ACP’s classic 230 grain projectile. You might just feel a pinch more recoil than normal, however, because its muzzle velocity ranks pretty high at 920 fps. This is intentional, as Browning loads BPT target ammunition to match the recoil and ballistics of their analogous BXP label self-defense cartridges.

The bullet? A full metal jacket. No nickel plating. No terminal expansion. No steel inside its gilding metal shell or lead core, either, so you can let it out of the box at ranges that throw a hissy fit over “magnetic bullets” (bullets that can attract a magnet, more accurately, but you know what we mean).
