More Details About Our 5000 Rounds of 36gr CPHP .22 LR Ammo by CCI

.22LR shooters tend to be high-volume shooters. You don’t just shoot a few hundred rounds in a typical day of plinking; you’ve got a habit of burning through thousands. The .22LR is fantastic for target practice, training new shooters, plinking, and small varmint control, and it’s no surprise it continues to gain popularity with time. CCI has been manufacturing this Mini-Mag rimfire for almost 60 years and they’ve put their experience to use to create a CPHP round you’re going to love.

CCI has more than a little experience manufacturing ammunition. They were founded by Richard Speer in the 1950’s, and they began manufacturing this Mini-Mag rimfire in 1963. It’s one of their best sellers, in part because the copper plating keeps shooter’s guns cleaner, and also because it’s a pleasure to shoot. It’s also affordable, and it isn’t every day you can get high-quality rounds at reasonable prices. Manufacturing takes place in Lewiston, Idaho, along the banks of the Snake River, all under the watchful eyes of the CCI team.

Since you’re a high-volume shooter – or if you’re about to become one – you’re going to want every one of the 5,000 rounds in this box. Many common rounds are lead, and because these are copper-plated, they prevent lead fouling and can also be fired in areas where lead rounds are not allowed, including some public lands. These are 36 grain, which is lightweight, and they zip along like you’d expect with a muzzle velocity of 1,260 feet per second. They have a muzzle energy of 127 foot-pounds and as hollow points they expand upon impact, although as .22LR the expansion is slight. When you want American-made rimfire, you want CCI.

I have cycled thousands of CCI rounds and have NEVER had an FTE, squib, or jam in any of my four ,22LR semi-auto firearms. I have tried other LR brands but nothing compares to the reliability and performance of any CCI .22LR products. CCI just makes a better round. period
