Shotguns are just about the best tool out there for pest control. Their wide spread makes it easy to hit small, fast critters, and their design generally allows for rapid follow-up shots. Unfortunately, they’re also cumbersome and heavy. If you’re looking for shotgun-style pest control in a more convenient package, these handgun shotshells from CCI are for you!
Each cartridge in this case of 10 sports a plastic capsule in a non-reloadable aluminum case. The capsule is loaded with 84 grains of #4 lead shot; when the gun is fired, the capsule shatters and sends the shot down the barrel. Although #4 shot is used in a wide variety of roles (including self-defense and turkey hunting), these cartridges are intended only for pest control purposes. Using them for hunting or self defense is not recommended.
NOTICE: DO NOT RELOAD THESE ALUMINUM CASES. They are stamped Not Reloadable (NR) and may rupture or otherwise malfuntion if reused. This will damage or destory the firearm and cause severe harm to the operator.
