7.62x39mm was designed in 1944 for use in the RPD, but it wasn’t long before it became most commonly used for the SKS and AK-47. Almost seventy years later it remains one of the most widely used intermediate rifle cartridges, partially due to its affordable cost and partly because they’re able to function in a variety of conditions. In fact, 7.62x39mm cartridges have been proven through testing to be capable of functioning in temperatures ranging from -50 degrees Celsius (-58 Fahrenheit) to 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees Fahrenheit). They’ve proven reliable in extremes such as the freezing ice of the far north and the incredible heat of the Middle East. If you own a rifle chambered in this tough round, you probably enjoy shooting at high volumes, so take a look at this big box of ammunition from Century International Arms.
These rounds are made for your 7.62x39mm-chambered rifle. At 123 grain these are considered lightweight rounds for the cartridge size. Due to being so light they race down-range at high speeds and keep felt recoil manageable. These are Full Metal Jacket, FMJ, rounds and so do not expand on impact but simply strike the target, penetrate it, and continue traveling. Target rounds fired from a rifle can travel for miles before coming to a stop, making it even more important to have a reliable backstop in place during range time. These rounds leave your rifle with a muzzle velocity of 2296 feet per second. This ammunition is great for target practice, tactical training, and plinking.
When you order this box of ammunition from Century International Arms, you get 600 target rounds. With that much ammunition you’ll be spending quite a bit of time behind your SKS or AK-47, slinging lead down-range to your heart’s content. Whether you go prone and focus on improving your long-range skills or blow holes in a row of pop cans and water jugs, these rounds will keep your rifle warm and fed and you happy. In order to save you money these rounds are produced in steel cases using berdan primer to ensure ignition and extend their shelf-life. Century International Arms was founded in 1961 and manufactures ammunition at their factory in Florida. Your rifle has a big appetite, so feed it! Order now.
