Corbon 9mm ammo is specifically engineered for self-defense, and it excels at so important a job thanks to the awesome accuracy and stopping power of the DPX bullet. It is a solid copper hollow point (SCHP), which means it’s lead-free, clean-shooting, and devoid of imperfections that could have robbed it of in-flight stability.

The DPX bullet was designed in accordance with the FBI test protocol. Copper’s inherent toughness means the SCHP penetrates soft tissue to a depth of 12 to 18”, and also penetrates four layers of clothing without losing a single percentage of its weight. The bullet’s internal serrations equip it to produce wide expansion in the form of six razor-sharp cutting petals, which carve out debilitating wound channels and help anchor the bullet within its target to minimize the threat of over-penetration.

Copper isn’t nearly as dense as lead, which is why this round’s bullet weighs a mere 95 grains.
