At first glance, it’s not apparent what makes this round’s 60 grain soft point bullet special. That’s because the Partition’s signature feature is on the inside. The bullet’s lead-alloy core is divided into two separate sections by a wall of its jacket. The rear section ensures that the Partition retains over two-thirds of its weight, which alongside this particular bullet's higher-than-average mass promotes deep and deadly penetration. The front section allows the Partition’s soft core and tapered jacket to fan out after impact, ensuring wide and deadly expansion.

The Partition is an accurate bullet to boot, with a concentric streamlined jacket and special crimp-locked base which remains undeformed under intense pressure. Expect the 0.227 G1 BC projectile to overcome air resistance efficiently enough to retain at least 1,000 ft lbs of energy until approximately 99 yards. You won’t be sniping the deer, per se, but plenty of whitetail are willing to let you get much closer to them than that!
