500 Rounds of 150gr FMJ .300 AAC Blackout Ammo by Federal

Target shooting with first-rate hunting or self-defense 300 Blackout ammo? Sure! Go right on ahead, if you can afford it. But if you want the more sensible solution to all-day range play, then you’d better go with something more like Federal Premium American Eagle.

This round’s bullet is a full metal jacket boat tail. It’s a relatively simple construct of lead and gilding metal. (Note how its materials don’t include steel; the reason why it can’t attract a magnet.) The FMJ’s sloping base helps it conserve stability and momentum at farther ranges, which is a plus if you’re going way out there. Federal took the round’s 1,900 fps muzzle velocity (supersonic) with a 16” barrel, and figure its G1 BC at 0.406. That’s all we need to deduce that the bullet drops around -10.3” 100 yards downrange of 100-yard zero.

This ammo is made in Minnesota with all the right components, which most certainly include virgin reloadable brass!
