5.56x45mm NATO, typically referred to as 5.56 NATO, was first chambered in M16 rifles. It’s similar to .223 Remington, but not actually the same. 5.56 NATO is loaded to a higher pressure than .223 Remington, so although the cartridges are the same size, these hotter rounds can only be fired from guns built to withstand their use. And although this well-liked cartridge didn’t come about until the 1980’s, it soared to instant popularity far beyond its original military use.
M.B.I. produces high-quality remanufactured rounds. The brass cases are boxer-primed and can be reloaded again, which makes this an even more fantastic deal. Just hit the range, collect your brass, reload, and head back out for some more target practice. All components besides the cases are brand new and carefully selected to ensure they meet M.B.I.’s strict standards. This particular ammunition is FMJBT, so it’s meant for target practice and plinking, and because it has a boat tail, it’s good for working on your distance shots.
55 grain is lightweight and enables these rounds to rush down-range with even greater speed. And because it’s 5.56 NATO, you know it’s going to tear a good-sized hole in your targets. With 100 rounds in this sealed plastic bag, you can give your favorite rifle a nice snack and dedicate some time to honing your marksmanship skills. At these prices, there’s simply no excuse for not buying a few bags and taking the time to make both your rifle and yourself happy. M.B.I. is known for precisely remanufactured rounds, and these 5.56 NATO rounds are an excellent example of their stellar reputation.
(These are 5.56 NATO rounds. Although the cartridges are visually identical to .223 Remington, they are loaded to a significantly higher pressure. Please make sure your gun is chambered in 5.56 NATO before using this ammunition.)
